You talked with Hank's coaching system — good. The next step is a 15-minute call.
No purchase yet. No commitment. Just a real conversation about where you are, what you're working on, and whether this program is the right fit for your situation.
If it's not, I'll tell you that too.
You're Not Bad at Shooting. You Were Just Taught Wrong.
Private 1-on-1 training with a battle-tested instructor who fixes what group classes broke. Same system that's trained over 40,000 military and law enforcement.
There's a quiet frustration sitting with you.
Every time you go to the range. Every time you take another class. Every time you come home and feel like something's off — but you can't name it.
You think it's you. You don't have the talent. The natural ability. The eye for it.
It isn't you. It's the instruction.
The Unsayable Truth
Most shooting instructors teach what they were taught. They recycle the same drills, the same range commands, the same "fundamentals" — without ever stopping to ask: does this actually work?
I've watched instructors with perfect Instagram shot groups fold up like a cheap lawn chair the second they they are put a light pressure scenario shooting situation.
I've seen students pay thousands for classes that left them with bigger bad habits than they started with.
You weren't bad at shooting. You were just taught wrong.
A Different System
I built my training around one principle: simplicity from complexity. Take what's been proven in 50+ years of training — over 40,000 military and law enforcement students — and boil it down to what actually works when it counts.
The 7 Gunfighting Essentials.
The complete framework for protecting yourself and the people you love:
Safety and mindset
Master grip
The Big Six: draw stroke, slide-lock reload, administrative reload, malfunction clear, cover/concealment, movement
Slide Lock Reload / Adminstrative Reload
Malfunctions
Cover and concealment
Movement
These aren't drills to log hours on. They're the essentials — the things that come home with you.
What Happens in Your First Block
When you book a Private Intensive with me or one of my hand-picked ISP instructors, here's how it goes:
First 2-3 sessions: Delivered in one block. We setup your foundation and diagnose the one or two things holding you back. Almost always something in the Big 6 / grip, a draw stroke, or trigger control — basics, badly taught.
Next sessions: We fix them. Together. With video review, dry fire, and live fire in a controlled environment.
You leave with: A clear plan, the right corrections, and measurable improvement you can feel.
If, after your first block, you don't feel this is right for you — your full investment back. No fine print. Most instructors won't put that in writing. I do, because the system works.
Who This Is For
You've taken classes before and walked away frustrated. Something felt off but you couldn't name it.
You carry a firearm for protection — yours or your family's. You need this to actually work when it counts.
You're tired of feeling like a beginner. You want the basics done right.
You want the best instruction available. Same system that's trained Marines, Rangers, and federal officers.
Who This Isn't For
This isn't for everyone — and that's the point. I only want students who are serious about getting real improvement.
If you're looking for the cheapest option. If you want to log hours at the range without a plan. If you're shopping for a deal rather than a result.
The Private Intensive isn't for you. And I'd rather you know that now than refund you later.
I've had to refund a student who turned out to be the wrong fit, and I never want to do that again — not for them, not for me. So I've built the program to filter bad-fit clients out by the end of the first block. If you're still in after that, we're going to make something real happen.
.
The Guarantee
If, after your first 2-3 hour block, you don't feel this is right — your full $1,200 back.
That's how confident I am in the system — and how few instructors will ever offer the same.
Real Student Words
"I had an excellent experience training with Hank. He places a huge emphasis on safety while also breaking down grip, stance, and the key fundamentals needed to improve accuracy. His instruction was clear, practical, and immediately helpful. Hank is extremely knowledgeable yet very down to earth, which made the class comfortable and confidence-building. From the start, I felt safe and knew I was in capable hands. He's a true professional and an outstanding firearms instructor. Highly recommend."

"My husband and I just recently signed up for a membership through ISP and we have been blown away so far with the QUALITY of training and knowledge! If you want to be taught by the best people and learn things correctly and safely, this is the place. Hank really breaks things down on a level that is very easy to learn and is incredible to work with!"

What Comes Next
Private Intensive graduates often transition to our live outdoor courses when they're ready. Most students complete their intensive before moving to outdoor training — that's the natural path.
We'll talk through what's right for you in your first session — no pressure, no hard sell. Just a clear-eyed conversation about what you need.
About Your Instructor
Hank Hayes has spent 50+ years mastering and teaching protection skills. He invented the No Lie Blades marking blade — picked up by the United States government — and was inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2012 by U.S Marines nomination..
He's trained over 40k plus military & law enforcement personnel through NLB Tactical & Intuitive Self Protection combined.. He didn't get there by being loudest - he got there by being best..
What Happens On The Call
Not sure what booking actually means? Here's exactly how it goes:
We talk through what you're working on — your situation right now (training level), what's frustrating about it (the gap), where you're trying to get (the goal).
I tell you honestly whether this program fits. If it's not right for where you're at or what you're trying to do - I'll say so directly.
No pitch. No pressure tactics.. No follow-up sequence if it's not right.. Just an honest read on whether we should work together..
The call itself runs about fifteen minutes.. After that you'll know exactly what we'd work on together - or you'll know it's not worth either of our time..
