Become an Instructor and begin teaching courses in your local area and become part of a Nation Wide organization. If accepted you will become part of a movement to help people be their own first responders with no nonsense Tier 1 Civilian Training.
You will receive professional certification training enabling you to successfully instruct in your area. In addition, you will receive coaching, mentoring, and guidance from ISP Headquarters to assist in your success. Make no mistake however, this is not a gimme certification nor is it a quick 2-5 day cookie cutter program.
Because ISP’s teaching methodology is so unique in the industry it is critical that you attend one of our courses to ensure that you would be a good fit on the team and that you feel that our team is the right fit for you. In order to be considered for entrance into the Instructor Program you need to be an Alumnus of at least one of our Professional Certifying Courses. At ISP we hold a very high standard for not only who we teach but especially for who we allow to teach on our training deck.

Empty Hand Combatives Training
These protection skills sets are designed for the everyday person you need no prior skills in any of our course environments.
All of the skill sets of fighting you will be using are proven battle tested fighting skills. The way you will be taught to look at things is that the “unknown” has weapons and friends. Just this knowledge alone should have you up on your toes ready for battle. The proprietary way in which this is taught will transform you very quickly.
Edged & Blunt Weapons Skills
The knife attack is one of the most underrated and underestimated forms of attack out there. When someone gets attacked by an effective bad guy with a knife it’s an ambush because he or she will generally use the element of surprise and blitz charge you. This is a nasty business to deal with. You will learn exactly how dangerous a knife is which will shift your mindset and mode of approach towards dealing with one.
When dealing with the blunt weapon it’s a minor shift in movement and approach and you’ll learn quickly, adapting to defending it and using it. Our approach and solution using and defending against the knife and blunt weapon is a Military and Law Enforcement proven system adjusted for the everyday person, this stuff will work for you! You would be served well by researching Intuitive Self Protection’s leadership on the subject of knife defense and all things combative.
Firearms Skills
What you will possess once done with any of the firearms training courses is confidence and self-achievement in knowing you’ve taken part in something that has moved your skills down field several tens of yards. These courses are a transformative experience for everyone that goes through them. Your mind picture will have changed, thus changing the actions you will take after seeing yourself in your mind's eye.
The firearms platform that you will learn is special forces based, tweaked for the civilian use. You will never be yelled or barked at in a military task command way (unless something unsafe is happening, even then our approach is much softer). You will be learning a set of skills designed for the everyday person to protect yourself and others with.

Intuitive Self Protection is a professional nationwide organization that is extremely passionate and devoted to providing immediately usable and effective corporate and personal self-protection skill sets. This is to include preventive, immediate self-defensive and after action or encounter skill sets.
We provide instructional services to a variety of clientele. What’s most important to know and what we often like to say is “Uncommon training for the Common man”. What this means is, all of our programs are designed for the everyday person to execute and all of our courses are taught in a way the everyday person wants to learn. We meet the students where they are, not where we are.
If you are selected to the team you will NEVER bark commands or tasks at your students unless you’re doing a higher level of training evolution, stress course or something that is unsafe. Even then, it’s done in a more subtle way than the Militaristic - L/E recruit training manner also common in many reality-based training environments. We are there to listen and help students get to where THEY want to go.
What’s important to know about Intuitive Self Protection is we have a standard of excellence. We bring in people based on several important variables and a few of them are personal character and a desire and calling to help people be their own best first responders.
Just because someone has the resources and meets many of the criteria to be accepted doesn’t mean they will be selected. Flatly put, we don’t just let anybody / everybody in.
